The Minicci line began with Cosmo Minisci, who left a hilltop village in Calabria in 1886 and crossed the ocean to work the limestone quarries of southern Indiana. The standard he set still guides the work today under owner Paul Hyde.

Minicci Stone is a fourth-generation stone fabrication and installation company based in San Diego. The work is exacting, quiet, and built around the expectations of luxury custom homes.
Paul has been a licensed stone fabricator for over 22 years and has managed more than $25 million in projects across San Diego County — luxury residential work for high-end builders and designers, along with commercial projects like Pala Casino.

From Calabria, by hand
In 1886, Cosmo Minisci left his family in Calabria, Italy and sailed to America with little more than grit and a job waiting — in the limestone quarries of southern Indiana. For over a decade he worked the stone by hand, in dangerous conditions, building a better life for the family he'd left behind. Somewhere between Ellis Island and Indiana, Minisci became Minicci — the name changed; the standard didn't. Four generations later, that same pride in the work carries it forward.
